James finally tied the knot with his long term partner Deirdre in the amazing surroundings of Gougane Barra in Cork. The ceremony took place in St Finbarrs Oratory on what was the hottest day of the year so far. The bride looked stunning in a 1950’s vintage blush wedding dress. Flowers by About Your Garden in collaboration with New Life Florist complimented the wedding dress with peaches, white of the gypsophilia and a splash of yellow from hyacinth. Still in season the hyacinth was chosen to fill St Finbarrs Oratory with scent. Combined with song from the birds outside, every sense was catered for on the day! The 1950’s theme was subtly repeated throughout the rest of the wedding. The groom along with the best man, groomsmen and pageboys wore tweed waste coats finished off by pocket watches from Mullingar Pewter. The groomsmens black suits picked up on the 1950’s style dresses of the bridesmaids. Each bridesmaid wore a bespoke hand made birdcage veil with bouquets to match the brides.
